Admittedly, this is damning him with faint praise, but hey.

I also think this is better than the feature film VTTBOTS from 1961 and way, way better than IA's version of Lost World (also featuring Dave Heddison wearing a scarf and footage that would be reused in several eps of the VTTBOTS series). Again, I am damning IA with faint praise, but surely, the man was a schlockmeister.

This was my favorite IA series by far though I was a fan of everything he did. Time Tunnel was my other favorite. But yeah it as all schlock.

There wasn't a whole lot that wasn't schlocky on US television in the 1960s, 1970s, and a good deal of the 1980s. It was better than average IMO. Some crime-detectives and dramas were good but were far more often pulpy.
