Was Morgan A Serial Killer?
...I mean he walked into that woman's house who was in bed screaming and put up her arms to defend herself and he posted her anyways. That was kind of sick to me.

The problem is there were 2 types of victims. The 'zombie' type that were indeed dead and the other almost semi-immune who had adapted. The problem was he didn't know there was a diff, and he killed from both camps.
Naturally in the book its much more fully explained. The Omega Man cuts all that subtlety out as does I am Legend.
To the people who'd found the treatment, he was, insuring that they wouldn't listen to the idea that he'd found a cure.
