One of my favorite horror films

And everytime I watch it I seem to like it a bit more. The scene where Vincent Price is remembering his deceased family (in flashbacks) and breaking down is amazing stuff.

And his former colleague banging outside with "Come out, Morgan!"

And of course the final act is brilliant.

"America isn't ready for a gay, mexican chicken sandwich" - Poultrygeist

Very weird that this 50 year old movie doesn't have any posts older than June 2014.
I wonder why the board is edited down?

Anyway, I saw it as part of Halloween Harvey's Festival of Fear.
He showed a pretty rough copy. At one point dialog played when someone's mouth was closed, but then the line was repeated synched up to the mouth.

First thing I thought - Why didn't he grow garlic around his property? He didn't even build a fence.

Agree. The budget was obviously low, but man did it turned out to be a very effective film.

Hey there, Johnny Boy, I hope you fry!
