wow,am i glad i watched this on my computer while doing other stuff,
because this was so boring.
the only nice things it has going for itself is the settings,the beautiful scenery and all the good acting.
but the movie itself is so slow and boring.
but its an experience i guess ..

maybe you should just keep watching tom and jerry. roderunner would too deep for you.
I find there's no point watching a movie while trying to do other stuff. You're not gonna get the full impression that's intended because you're distracted and not being swept up in the plot.
I will say the movie is a bit 'slower' than most modern works. That doesn't make it boring, though. It certainly helps if you know a bit of history regarding the time period (1912-1925).
You have to appreciate looking at the sun through the clouds, the frozen dasha, the yellow flowers.
shareThe first time I tried watching this movie I put it in Spanish audio so that my mother could better understand it, but I fell asleep. It's under AFI's top 100 movies of all time and this was the last movie I didn't officially watch of the list so I wanted to try again. Just got through watching it again with my mother but this time in English and I was able to finish this time.
It's a "chick flick" and it does run slow compared to today's movies which have quick cuts.
I watched it probably 12 years ago and it was hella boring. I'll have to give it another go also.
shareI don't think this movie is boring, but it's definitely lackluster compared to other war-themed epics like Gone with the Wind or War and Peace. It just goes from Point A to Point B to Point C.
