Anyone know the name of the actor who played comrade Yelkin? I think he's wonderfully reptilian.

Wolf Frees, I've never seen him in anything else but I agree with your appraisal.

I remember him from The Day They Robbed the Bank of England with Peter O'Toole and Aldo Ray, playing an IRA man if memory serves. IMDB says he was in Guns of Navarone but it must have been a bit part.

I'm afraid that you underestimate the number of subjects in which I take an interest!
