Let me know if you met him? Did he ever come to South Carolina or to Columbia? I came here from Germany via Special OPS in Florida than to Shaw AFB! My fave movie of all time is Mr. Sharif's Dr. Zhivago. I even asked TCM to dedicate this month or next month to all things Omar Sharif. It is a wonderful thing. When the Lord calls you home. You look back at your life maybe with some regret. But you see a lifetime of work to be happy with and now generations to come from reel to reel to VHS/Beta to DVD's and beyond will enjoy Mr. Sharif's life and legacy! Rest in peace
