Does anyone know why they shaved Sharif's hairline?
I read that in the trivia section. They shaved his hairline up a few inches, and I could definitely tell. It made his forehead look unnaturally big. Does anyone know why the studio did that?

shareYes, Sharif said it in an interview for a "Behind Dr. Zhivago" program. And of course, he wore a wig to disguise his curly Arab hair.
Also had his temples taped to make his eyes a bit more slanty, Slav-style.
