Mystery music in trailer and documentaries.

Can anybody identify the majestic and powerful music that dominates the latter parts of the trailer and on the original documentaries? There are parts of Jarre's original score used, but this music apparently must have come from a prior MGM film or from its library.

Maurice Jarre composed several themes (one that might be described as "majestic and powerful") that were not used in the film score. So, possibly they were used here? Without knowing what precisely you are referring to it is hard to say.
