Why is it not in the top 250!

It's so sad that Pirates of the Carribean is in there and this isn't.

It's a hard watch about a hard subject. Films that challenging don't usually appear in best of. . lists. Steiger gives the performance of his life. And the jazz works - it sounds as if a man is coming apart, bit by bit.

The only valid reason it's not in the Top 250 is the horrible music soundtrack which detracts from an otherwise superb film. I don't understand how an upbeat jazz soundtrack is good accompaniment and emotional signifier to a man's inner torment and Nazi atrocities.

It was not annoying it shows the chaotic feelings and experiences that Rod Steiger had. No doubt it should be in the top 250.

It should definitely be in the top 250. Some of the films in that list can't hold a candle to this film.

It's too underseen.

Though I have no problem with POTC being in the top 250. It's just this should be there, too (and be higher).
