Do you prefer the episodes with or without Batgirl?

Me I prefer the episodes without Batgirl.

Have you seen the Batgirl pilot?

Like there's a difference. But usually a movie or series is better with a girl in it.

I don't think the problem was Batgirl, per se.

For me, it was the fact that they got rid of the cliffhanger endings, which was always the most enjoyable part of it. Wondering how Batman was gonna get out of it this week.

I get that they were trying to go in a different direction to help with ratings. But, adding a new character to an established show will always be a risk, and even more so when you're moving the traditional two parters to one-parters at the same time that you're adding the new character. Just seemed that there was too much going on in each episode, and it felt cluttered.

They had experimented with doing episodes with two guest villains, and making them three-parters rather than two. Maybe if they'd have kept doing that, it might've been a better way of bringing Batgirl in, rather than including her and trying to set up a whole new story every episode.

The show had run its course by the end of Season 2. The ideas had run out. The cliffhangers became more bizarre and less believable. The secondary villains had little energy to them. I liked Barbara Stuart on Gomer Pyle but she was out of place as were most of the molls in Season 2. I know studios don't like to be pushed around by actors but not having Frank Gorshin and his manic energy for Season 2 hurt bad. The only thing to look forward to in Season 3 is Yvonne Craig running around in a skin tight shiny costume complete with heeled boots. Yum.

I prefer the Batgirl episodes because I love her BatCycle and theme song
