...the INCREDIBLE score by Neil Hefti. This is my favorite movie of all time...seen it too many times to count...the acting is superb..the story simple and sweet. No mention in all of the discussion on this board, however, of the wonderful music written for this movie. The song, "Barefoot in the Park" is a classic but appears to have been forgotten by the music world...only one or two artist ever bothered to record their version. No need for a remake; it was done perfectly the first time.

I agree. The music was great! And I never tire of watching this movie. It ranks in the Top-10 of my favorite movies.

The music always runs through my head long after I've seen the movie; but in a good way. I can still hear it. Neal Hefty also did the theme song for the T.V. version of the "Odd Couple".
