The song 'Shama Shama'?? Help pls : )

I've been looking for the song they sing in the restaurant with Victor Velasco, it goes "Shama shama" something; I've watched the movie many times and even tried to find its lyrics but neither google nor any other search engines could find it! Anybody who's familiar with it?

Funny, I couldn't fall asleep this evening, so got online and looked this up. Great movie. Seems your question is from a few days ago. Shama Shama, as they toss the hot chestnuts, was only for the movie. At least I believe that is how it went. I just LOVED Herb Edelman and his panting after reaching their tiny apartment, six flights (including the stoop) up. Sorry I can't be more help. Jean

Your e-mail name, is that from "The Music Man"? Or am I thinking of something
else? Thanx for the helpful info. Having tried to reply earlier today, I ended up in a quagmire because I was on a different computer. I think I'm Okay, now that I've reset my password, etc.
I did theatre several years back . . that's my passion.

By the by, I'm not sure what or why you wrote about your 'parking spot on the corner of Urine & Crime Spree'. And isn't the character Karen Walker from "Will and Grace"? Geeze. This is opening a whole new can o' worms.
I await your reply from wherever the heck you are! Jean

Sounds like terrorists planning an attack

reply

Hm. To me is sounds like "shama, shama, el a ca moh ma."

We're doing this at my high school for the fall play.

"Shama Shama ela mai kemama"
At least that's how it's spelled in the script.

reply

To me it sounded like, "Shama, shama, el ma karama."

"I drank what?!?"
