Popcorn Bucket List: Bonnie and Clyde
The dialogue is mostly boring. It’s nice to have a film rich in subtext, but all too often that results in boring conversations and people exchanging pleasantries. Estelle Parsons is really irritating. I know her character is meant to be a waste of space anyway, but god her screaming is irritating. Hackman I don’t like in a good ol’ boy capacity; he’s acting out a “Dukes of Hazzard” episode.
