Favorite scene

Probably the scene that is most famous in the film, the scene where he is in her house and she is playfully flirting with him and he says "Mrs. Robinson you're trying to seduce me" and she starts giggling and says she's no but she's flattered etc. Mrs. Robinson was so sexy.

When Benjamin announces to his parents that he and Elaine are getting married. The elation from his parents, and how rapidly and completely that elation deflates as Ben shares more details, kills me every time.

"Son, this whole idea seems pretty half baked."

"Oh, no, it's completely baked. It's a decision I've made."

The closing scene. Katharine Ross looking up, and the running away. Finally, the look they have on the bus. "What now?". Priceless.

The transition from a nervous guy to a confident young man after he got laid for the first time is a masterclass of filmmaking.
