Who Was That Mickey Mouse Impersonator?

I've been watching "Laugh-In" on DECADES-TV. I'm not sure about the first two seasons, but in Season 3, and now Season 4, there is a strange Mickey-Mouse type character who pops up once in a while in those "quickie" interludes.

A couple of things: Who plays this character, if you can call it "playing"? It looks like a male actor about the size of Henry Gibson or Arte Johnson-- but it doesn't look like either of them.

The other thing is that this mysterious MM character is-- how to say it?-- sort of "edgy" or snarky.

I refer to it as an MM "type" because it's wearing those Mouseketeer ears and Mickey-ish makeup. But they don't call it "Mickey"-- usually it only has a line or two in its "in and out" flash appearances.

Since the Disney Corporation is fanatic about protecting its "intellectual property", how did "Laugh-In" get away with presenting this recurring satire or caricature of the Official/Authorized Mickey?

Usually Disney comes down like a ton of bricks on anyone using their characters in a negative or unflattering way, especially without authorization.

I can only hope I get an answer before IMDb pulls the plug. 😞

It sounds like Ruth Buzzi, who also did the "HI~!" as Flicker Farkle...

I think it was Arte Johnson.

He was the true "utility player" on that show.
