great film but very slow-paced.
gotta to speed up the pace to keep people awake.

As a fast and the furious franchise fan, I thought Bullitt was terrifically paced. Intense film, understandably a classic.
shareI found it difficult getting through this movie. Loss of concentration led to getting lost in the plot. The muscle car chase scene was good though. Most of the other scenes are drawn out, but so too was his other movie Le Mans (1971) with its dreamy women and fast cars, which I better preferred. If you want an action movie from the same era, go with Dirty Harry (1971), although released a few years later.
