Can someone explain this. How the heck were the apes able to move the Statue of Liberty from Earth to their home planet when they thought flight was impossible as per Corneilous to Taylor just before he made the paper airplane? Did I find the biggest plot hole of all time?

It's been a while since I've seen it, but this one is simple: it wasn't a different planet, it was Earth, in the future.

It was a gift from French apes, who indeed could fly.
