I just love this movie. Not the whole movie itself, but the look, the fashions, the score, the classic 70s flick score, especially once they are on the run at the end, the classic cop scores. I really love it! I find it funny and adorable that they were able to fit a classic 70s movie in the POTA series :)
And the last of the series to have original music throughout. Conquest and Battle have cues that keep repeating, and Conquest ends with a track from the original movie.
Yeah, it does get shown on Film4 a lot now. Mind you, a year or so ago at about the time when Dawn came out, they had a special where they showed, one after the other, all the classic films, with one exception: Escape. They probably didn't have the rights at the time to show it, but it was a bit of a gap. Seems that they're making up for it now. ;)
Back in the '70s the movies were only available to TV stations in two seperate packages; the first three, and the last two. You never saw all five on the same station.
Lucky you. Here in the Boston area, Conquest and Battle would be on one station (often shown back-to-back) and the first three were on another (usually over a three weekend period). Never saw all five together until we had cable in the late '80s. Not even sure of the station; could've been WPIX. Back in the '70s I had them all on audio cassette.
