Question about deleted scene

On the #2 trailer on the DVD there is a quick scene of Harold in a location I don't recognize saying "Where's my old lady?". Does anyone know anything about this? I don't remember this from the book either.

yeah i know what you mean, but in context it seems like a blooper outtake kind of feel to it.

would love to know exactly where it was suppose to be in the flow of the movie to understand it better

Hi,

The outtake looks to me like it took place in the amusement park scene when Harold and Maude were in the arcade. I guess that Maude wandered off, and at first, Harold couldn't find her, hence the "Where's my old lady?" line.

Remember the scene where Harold is making the ring for Maude on that machine, and he looks over and sees Maude playing pinball with some guys? I can see that maybe he found her there, saw the machine, and got the idea of making the ring for her, then when he was nearly done, looked over at her with the guys, as a place where the scene clip could have come from, though deleted.
