Finally! After the (nearly) bare-bones DVD of yesteryear, we will finally get a proper release of this classic film. The only complaints I have are the lack of deleted scenes which we got teased with in the 2 trailers from the DVD. Also, Bud Cort once offered to do an audio commentary, but the studio who put out the low-brow DVD weren't interested. It would have been nice to hear his thoughts on the film. Finally, the film locations have long been visited by fans of the film. A "then & now" sequence would have put the icing on the cake!

Any reviews of this? I rented it (minus the booklet) at a local store before I decided if I wanted to buy it. I was excited to hear that there was a criterion release, but then when I saw what was on it I was a little disappointed. No Bud Cort audio commentary? No deleted scenes? It seems that there wasn't that much new material produced for this - it seems more like a collection of old material put together for the release. I think the collection of stuff that came with the LP is more interesting.
