Finally Watched This Film...

...and I really enjoyed it. Was funny as hell. I wonder what audiences in 1971 thought of the dark humor? And is it just me, or does a young Bud Cort freakishly resemble Joshua Miller (from "River's Edge" & "Near Dark?") The resemblance is scary.

The 1970's were a time of many dark humored (anti-establishment) films of this type MASH, The Graduate are often compared). Though never appreciated by a "wide audience", it got enough of cult following that some theaters played it for years...

I also just watched it for the first time. Funny is not a word I would use to describe it. Nothing special or memorable at all.
