Things that could have made this movie better
Instead of a Southerner playing Willy. Should have had a Northerner. Moses Gunn was from Missouri but he was more an immigrant because his parents were actually African. And Africans tend to be more like Northern blacks (well actually it's the other way around). Moses Gunn delivered portrayed Bumpy as he should have - as a hard New York-accented gangster. Willy should have been a Northern actor. Instead of "Threw ma man out the goddamn window," it would be "Threw my *beep* man out the *beep* window," like some New York gangster
