Dorothy's House

I saw this film a number of years ago but have rediscovered it in the last few weeks. I am quite taken with the story and Dorothy's beauty. Some women are magic and she definitely had a special quality that is quite sexy. It was no wonder Hermie became infatuated with her. I wish there was more one could know about Dorothy's background, and I find it especially sad and poignant that Hermie never saw her again or learned what became of her. I did notice the telegram Dorothy receives is addressed to 210 North Corry Street (the city is blurred out). That is an actual address in nearby Fort Bragg, CA and I am curious is that is perhaps where some or part of the cast or crew stayed while the film was in production.
