Where To Buy Or Rent This Movie

Anyone. Please tell me where you got your copy of this movie. I have looked for it everywhere. I was told there hasn't been a copy of it on the shelves for years. Netfilix nor Blockbuster have a copy. This is one of my all time favorites and would kill alright, not really),to see it again.

The DVD disappeared rather quickly. I hope comes back with the rest of the excised footage restored. Meanwhile, hunt on ebay.

What excised footage? They did that to 'The Man Who Would Be King'.

We rented a copy at Trilogy Video in Portland Oregon.

I don't know if they will do mail rentals or not;
perhaps you should visit Portland and rent it here!

You can also get movies by inter-library loan through your local library.
Most major libraries are listed in worldcat, and They Might Be Giants
can be found at:

http://worldcat.org/oclc/15523522

Enter your zip code or other regional information, and this fine website
will tell you where you can find it, in order of distance. This movie
is available in 138 libraries, including the Singapore National Library.

Hello,
I am interested in purchasing this film. I did try to email, but it came back.
I will try again. Also I am looking for this movie with French subtitles.
Thanks

Hi,
Amazon.com has the dvd at ridiculous prices ($170 new and $100 used). The edition, however has many scenes cut. For example, "Holme's" explanation of why a flame is a flame is missing.
As was stated earlier, one would hope that a new release might be pending with the deleted scenes restored. I am not holding my breath.
Would there be a way of lobbying the release company? Hmmm....

I just found it on Netflix. GREAT movie!!!

I've heard rumours of it being released on a notorious wares site as a complete copy of the DVD. Just awful.
