The other 4 winners all had press conferences except Charlie. Given the fact that when the South American guy's ticket was a fraud, finding the 5th and final ticket should have been big news but it wasn't even a blip.

They don't show everything in the movie. Charlie was already featured in the movie, whereas the press conferences were a good way to show more of the other kid's personalities.
