If the Oompa Loompas don't want us to watch any television, THEN...

...how in the HELL are we suppose to WATCH the Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory movie? 

reply

The Oompahs were in cahoots with the movie theatre chains. Don't watch TV, go to the movies instead is their motto.

It wasnt me, it was the other three. Hang them!

They didn't say anything about movies. YOU'LL GET NO YOU'LL GET NO YOU'LL GET NO YOU'LL GET NO COMMERCIALS

reply

But now there are commercials even on theaters...

reply

I'm surprised books don't have commercials or advertisements in between each chapters...

I actually wrote a critique of the book in graduate school. Dahl is condemning those who watch TV yet the guy wrote for TV.

The problem was not TV, but a GLUT of TV. No commercials is a bonus for reading a book.

I like commercials. Often I think they are better than the TV shows.
