Gee grandpa, Willy Wonka sounds like a great guy !

Charlie : "Wow grandpa, you really like Willy Wonka."
Grandpa : "He's great ! He makes the greatest chocolate in the world ! He's a great guy !"

Charlie : "That's great grandpa. He must do some great things with all the money he makes."
Grandpa : "Nah, he doesn't do any of that philanthropy crap ! He just likes making money and chocolate ! He's a great guy !"

Charlie : "Wow that's awesome grandpa. He's able to make that huge factory that looms over our town like that. He must hire a lot of people around here to help the community thrive."
Grandpa : "Nah, he doesn't care about the loser locals around here ! He has a bunch of little people do slave labor for him ! He tells them they either work for him or he's gonna send them back to their country and get eaten by a bunch of beasts that live there ! He's a great guy !"

Charlie : "That's awesome grandpa. Have you ever met him ?"
Grandpa : "Nah, he never comes out of that factory ! He doesn't want to see us scumbags who live around here ! But he lets us buy his chocolate ! He loves selling us chocolate and taking our money ! He's a great guy !!!"

I'd conclude that really, in the end, no one is forcing Grandpa to buy Willy Wonka's candy bars and that he's simply addicted and uses Wonka's wealth as a way to cover this part up.. How about it??

He also introduced the town to the lottery ticket, which all profits him by the way.

Anytime a bum like grandpa is idolizing someone redlights should be going off in your head.

You don't know whether he donates any of his money or not.

Maybe grandpa should have got his possum playing ass out of bed and built his own chocolate factory.

Grandpa Joe was into the four-in-a-bed kink aspect.
