Format Change Idea

OK. People who frequent these boards and know me know that I don't like people who lose their game and are given the opportunity to play in the showcase. Here's an idea to fix that.

Instead of having the format of 3 games - showdown - 3 games - showdown - showcase, I'm thinking something like this:

6 games - showdown - showcase.

Only people who have won their games get to spin the wheel. Two people with the highest totals on the wheel move on to the showcase.

In the event of only 2 winners, both will only get one spin to see if they get $1,000 and a bonus spin.

In the event of only 1 winner, s/he will only get one spin; of course, if they hit the dollar they still get $1,000 and their bonus spin. Whatever s/he lands on will be multiplied by 100. That amount is what s/he has to be within without going over to win the showcase. For example, if s/he lands on 75, s/he has to be within $7,500 without going over to win.

In the event of all 6 games lost, we'll just bring all 6 players back and the two highest totals on the wheel go to the showcase.

Thoughts? Go.

Well if I were to be absolutely straightforward, I don't think those who lose should be rewarded with the showcase. Makes my blood boil. I'll take it a step further as to saying these imbeciles should be imprisoned for it.

I think this is an interesting idea, although it doesn't bother me that someone who lost their game gets to the showcase -- unless they're a complete moron, I quite like the redemption aspect some people sometimes get to have.

I doubt they would change it up though.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Also, I think you're dead of COVID.
