Connections to the furry fandom

Anyone thinks this is the origin to that fandom?

I don't think so, especially given that Bakshi's style is not really what I'd call furry art per se (though it definitely appeals to many Furries regardless). Disney's Robin Hood, which came out a year after Fritz, is often cited as a more likely starting point (ever seen that "Yiff in Hell Furfags" macro? It's a screencap from the movie), but honestly the beginnings of the fandom are probably even older than that.

Yup both this with Robin Hood, Sweet Polly on Underdog, Cleo on Heathcliff, Animalympics, Thundercats etc. are the origins to the furry fandom.

I happen to be a furry myself for 28 years since i was 4 when i had a crush on Cleo and Cheetara on Thundercats, i never knew there was a fandom until i was 15 when i read comics like Shanda comics and Furrlough as i knew i was a furry. I'm also a brony as well, you know that is?
