Those of you who have seen American Splendor know that Robert Crumb (who created Fritz) met Harvey's wife Joyce. Is it just me, or does Fritz's girlfriend Winston seem a lot like Joyce? Maybe he based her on Joyce.

Speaking of which, don't you notice how she seems to get a complete personality change about halfway through, and then reverts to her old self at the end?

I noticed that as well! It seemed like in the middle of the film she became middle aged or something, then at the end she's back to being a co-ed. I'm glad other people noticed it.
