Lucas directed this?

This movie is just wonderful and I can't believe the man wrote and directed Attack of the Clones could do something like this. Personally I liked every single character and situation in this.

Think of Lucas like a Father. He may not be firing on all cylinders at his current age, but once upon a time, the man was young, ambitious, and trying to make a name for himself.

That's why I just roll my eyes at all these people that just blame and shout at Lucas for their 'nostalgic troubles.' I'm glad to know I can mature beyond such things...sad others can't.

P.S. There was no way that the prequels were ever going to live up to what every other person imagined them to be.

Lucas also directed Star Wars. Just shows lightning can strike twice!

Its that man again!!

Hmm. Ever see "THX 1138"?

He's been pretty hit-and-miss as a rule, though tending considerably more in the "miss" direction in later years.

Lucas's problems were never his directing capabilities, it was his writing. The fact that he had help writing this smoothed out his rough edges. He's always been a good director.

Don't like what I'm saying? Then call 1800-Ima-CryBaby and ask for "Waaaaaa"

reply

Yes he did. Here's some proof:

"Lucas directed this?"

The first time I watched AG, that is exactly what I said. In a nutshell, his work was extraordinary once.

Hey there, Johnny Boy, I hope you fry!

reply

He didn't actually direct Attack of the Clones. He did direct the first Star Wars and THX 1138 which were both amazing movies. Not sure how it's so hard to believe.

reply

No, he did. He directed the first Star Wars and the three prequels.

Of the 6, only Empire and Jedi he did not direct.
