The Exorcist!! I am watching "don't be afraid of the dark" right now and she reminds me of Linda Blair. Not saying Ellen Burstyn was a bad choice but they look nothing alike. Does anyone else see the resemblance?

I actually thought Burstyn and Blair were a great match, and remember that Burstyn's Exorcist character wasn't just a mother, she was a movie star, which Burstyn played convincingly. I don't think Darby would have been as believable in that respect, but I do see the resemblance you're speaking of. Kim Darby is only 12 years older than Linda Blair, however, so playing her mother would have been a tad strange.
