WHAT A STRANGE MOVIE.

WATCHING IT RIGHT NOW...I AM A STONECOLD HENRY FONDA FAN SO I WAS BOUND TO SEE THIS SOONER OR LATER...SURPRISED IT'S SO MUCH LATER...A COMEDY WESTERN...WHERE THE COMEDY DOES NOT TAKE AWAY FROM THE WESTERN?...I THINK I LOVE THIS MOVIE.

It's great. Have you seen the Trinity movies?

reply

I HAVE NOT.

You should check them out. Very funny movies. They parody the Italian westerns.

We could benefit from more such comedies today

I saw this movie in the theater when I was 10. I loved it!

IIRC, it was directed by Sergio Leone's assistant director and Sergio Leone directed the first scene.

Reason I found this thread is I spotted Marc Mazza while watching Moonraker. Marc Mazza was the guy Terence Hill slaps in the saloon scene (guy with the backwards guns). He had a small uncredited part as a technician.

I SAW IT ON DVD AS A 42 YEAR OLD MAN....I ALSO LOVED IT.

I vaguely remember renting this on VHS and watching this with my Dad when I was a kid. We laughed, but I don't remember too much about it. Still, I must have liked it to remember it much so many years later.
