Mean Streets... is the one + only Scorsese in my top 50
Goodfellas never 'loved' it, & while I prefer 21st century Marty, none of those come close.
Mean Streets is his gold standard imo.
And what else comprise of the top 50 ? Transformer ? Plan B form outer space ?

If Taxi Driver, Goodfellas, Raging Bull, Gangs Of NY, or Cape Fear all fail to make someone's top 50 or even top 10 list, then taste in cinema is unarguably lacking.
Yeah, the OP's top 50 contains "Lord of the Rings", "Star Wars", "Back to the Future", "Die Hard", "The Terminator", and, of course, the most overrated film in history (by imdb geeks, anyway) you know the one I mean.
Yet, no Scorsese. Other than "Mean Streets", which is like 48 out of 50 or something.
This is everything wrong with the Cinematic world today. *beep* taste.
