X-ray goof

When Papillon took his first chest x-ray, lying on his back, he rested both his open hands on his chest for the x-ray, easily seen by the doctor. Even in the early days of x-rays, and even with an inmate doctor, no one taking an x-ray would fail to spot the hands and fail to correct their placement off the chest. No big deal; just something not listed with the "goofs".

Watch it again. The first x-Ray plate was placed under his head. The second one the doctor had him turn over and placed the plate under his stomach. Neither would have been of much diagnostic value but Papillion was there to discuss buying a boat. The x-Rays were only an excuse to talk to the doctor.
