Not on ABC???

Why doesn't this air on ABC anymore? They still air Be My Valentine Charlie Brown, It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown, Charlie Brown's Thanksgiving and A Charlie Brown Christmas but not this one???? I wonder why????

Easter is rarely mentioned anymore. Possibly because people don't like the religious connotations, I don't know. But then even the secular aspects of the holiday don't get much attention, either. Rankin-Bass (creators of Rudolph, etc.) had a special called The Easter Bunny Is Comin' to Town which hasn't been shown in decades.
I'll venture that it has to do with money, just like everything else. Christmas is done to death because it's the time of year when the major retailers make a big haul (even though that's not the reason for the holidays). Easter, like Thanksgiving Day, gets a passing mention. Candy sales go up, but that's about it.

Does anyone else have a theory?

Thank you for the reply. It's sad that Easter is not recognized very much anymore. I think it is an important holiday. I did see Easter Bunny is Coming to Town when I was a kid. I remember they aired it on Disney Channel when Disney Channel was more Disney and kid friendly. It's sad that the Disney Channel has changed so much.... :(
