Out of sequence? Shouldn't Lancelot's story precede Galahad's?

When Lancelot "rescues" Galahad, he's with other knights.

Later, he's alone with his squire/mount when he storms the swamp castle.

Is there any indication that the two vignettes got reversed somehow? Aside from Lancelot being alone, there's also Galahad's final line during the rescue from Castle Anthrax: "... bet you're gay."

Lancelot (defensively): "[pauses a beat] no I'm not."

Seems like the line would be funnier coming AFTER the swamp castle incident.

Then again, these are individual tales of each knight, not necessarily in chronological order.

Maybe the other knights were sent to work with Lancelot, but after awhile he didn't need them.

I also love the "Lancelot is gay" thing! I think it's actually nice that the swamp castle happens later, because Galahad's line about him being gay is sort of foreshadowing. I've always thought that meeting Prince Herbert could be the universe trying to make Lancelot "come to terms" with his gayness, but it didn't work out. Maybe the universe will try again in another story.
