Sir Galahad and Parsifal

I have been starting to watch opera recently and was reviewing the libretto for Wagner's "Parsifal." It seems to me that the scene where Galahad the Pure is tempted by all the fair maidens is CLEARLY inspired by the scene in the opera where Parsifal is tempted by the Forest Maidens! Parsifal is, of course, an opera that does involve the Knights of the Grail. Given the fact that the Python crew was very well-read and educated, I think there is likely a connection. Any thoughts?
