Funny theatrical experience


I was lucky enough to catch a theatrical screening of this last night at the AFI Silver here in Maryland, and noticed a few amusing things.

For starters, the reel starting with The Tale of Sir Galahad and ending with the scene right before Sir Lancelot finds the note on the arrow to save the "damsel" in distress... whoever set the reel up in the projector set it too low This being said, the mating was off, and you could *clearly* see boom mics dangling from above! Especially during the "he isn't to leave until I come and get him" scene.

Then later on, they set the image too high, cutting off heads, and revealing where the masking tape on Terry Gilliam's animations were... very amusing
