The "remake"
I saw the 2004 version first-then I went and rented the original. OMG! I was infuriated by what they did to the remake! What a JOKE! The whole premise of the movie was lost-and incidentally, for men who "don't get it", the joke was on YOU. This movie pokes fun at MEN, not women in terms of what men think women should be, look like, their only true purpose in life, etc. And yes, it was based on women's lib, as women were coming out of the kitchens for quite a while by that time...
