Or even, what style or type of music was this?

Near the end of the dune buggy scene, when she is squatting on the tire and he's about to get into the truck, some really nice (what sounds like) Jazz from the time is played briefly. Anyone know or have any guesses or leads to sounds like that?

Don't know the tune but I'd say it was (very obscure, made for the movie only) 70s R&B. It'd be tough though to try to figure out who it was since it was such a short clip. Maybe a fan site somewhere has that info.
