How dis he go to the bathroom? The internet will not give this information up freely.

Catheter

reply

How did he go #2 ?

reply

His pants.

reply

Unless he had a diaper on inside his 'spacesuit' he'd have to wait till he got back to his immune room at his parents' house.

reply

Yeah but how did that work? He had to be completely germ free...does he need to wash his hands? How does he wash his hands? I'll tell you this, it wouldn't have involved running water...

reply

For urinating in the 'spacesuit' he would use a catheter and for #2 he'd either have to wait until returning to his immune room at home or wear a diaper when he was out. His germ-free room at his parents' house would have everything he needed for a safe germ-free existence, including any bathroom activities.

reply

Yeah, the germ free facilities at his home... That is my question: how did it work--exactly.

reply

I'm assuming he had a bathroom in his germ-free zone at home; with purified water, of course. He also could've used a bed pan or chamber pot, if necessary.

reply

I mean, how do you think the plumbing system worked to sterlize any water that came into his room? I don't think any conventional toilet would work anyways due to aerosolization ....

Could he use a chamber pot? In his waste there would be bacteria and such... Which produce germs, right?
