Remake (stay with me here)...
No, I don't see it happening. And I understand most everything great eventually gets a lousy remake. But consider this:
In recent years, horror is well made again. Movie makers are once again opting for genuine scares and practical effects. The original movie Burnt Offerings will never be obliterated just because someone takes on a remake. This is a great story, and by today's standards, could make a damn good horror flick.
Unfortunately, the perfect cast (in my mind) is the family that's already been pegged into the Insidious franchise. But the one character possibly the hardest to revamp: the chauffeur.
