BLURAY IS COMING!!!

The Blu-Ray was released Tuesday, November 19th. It's Region One. I'm still waiting for my copy, but early reviews are enthusiastic. The film has undergone a restoration, and includes all of the special features from the old 'Image'' DVD, as well as a trailer!. Should be wonderful-and, not so coincidentally, just in time for Christmas!. UPDATE:11-25-13- Just received my copy. The reviews are right. It looks and sounds wonderful. Indeed, an intensive restoration was done, and it shows. Yes, the three Bonus Features from the ''IMAGE'' DVD are here- a vintage promotional film from 1976,narrated by the Late talk show host and commentator Sir David Frost, one of the film's Co-Producers. Also included are a videotaped interview with the Sherman Brothers, and a film-length commentary by Producer/Director Bryan Forbes, who died earlier this year. (both done especially for the 2000 ''IMAGE'' disc). New is the Theatrical Trailer, which was not available in any previous edition, also in glorious widescreen. Lovers of this film should be more than satisfied-I certainly am!.
