Small piece of trivia
Both Barry Gordon and Denise Miller would later play parts in Archie Bunkers Place. At one time in the series I'm pretty sure their characters were dating.
shareThere were some occasional cross-overs between the Lear actors' repertoire and the Barney Miller rep company. It was mostly in the guest actors who turned up, but in the case of Miller and Gordon they may have been the only two regulars who played in the Barney Miller spin-off and then went on to become semi-regulars in what was essentially a spin-off of All In The Family.
(Oops. I did forget Gregory Sierra, who did several guest spots on Lear sitcoms, before landing a semi-regular role on Sanford & Son, and then went from there to his role as Chano on Barney Miller.)
