Just thought I'd share this with you guys, especially those in the UK that are stuck with the edited versions of the movie; a seller is selling a region free DVD of the movie with the full 382 minutes of the movie.

Does this have footage in it that was never shown in the mini-series on NBC in America back in 1977?

shareThat one in particular is a Korean version of the dvd. Korean editions usually look and sound alright, but never as good as European or American editions, so I'd rather go for a UK or US release DVD.
shareTBN runs this movie commercial free over the christmas holiday. so you can Tivo or record it if you want. I do believe it is the full version. They are running it tonight but too late for you to record. The next time TBN runs this movie commercial free is December 29th 2011 at 1:30pm and at 7pm Pacific time. It's an editted version runs 6hrs 360min. couldn't tell you all that's missing but part of Last supper is different from History Channel version.

the italian 4 disc special is only 374 mins the same as the uk version, the longest version is the usa version 382 mins with lots of bits missing from italian and uk versions, imdb has included in italian length intro and outros and adverts

shareThis can't be the full, original network-TV version because I watched the TBN version the other night, and it was scheduled to run from 10:30 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. but actually ended at around 4:44 a.m. (that's what? 6 hours and 14 minutes ... so, yeah, about 382-ish), and there were DEFINITELY a LOT of missing scenes I CLEARLY remember from previous viewings, some of which I listed in the "missing scenes" thread. This is my favorite Jesus movie, which I have seen at least twice, maybe more, and have it somewhere on a Beta tape version that I recorded from the TV back in the 1980s. Since the full version doesn't seem to be available anymore, maybe I can take it to the local video-specialty shop and get it converted! ("Get converted," yeah! :D ) Just have to dig out all the tapes.
