It might be a tough one for them because there would be as much humour around the Trans character(s) as there would at the Boomer. The Woke ones like making their heroes perfect and that just doesn't make for good comedy regardless of what they think.
If done properly it could actually become a hilarious premise for a show but it would require mocking of all not just a select few.
MTF has to pretend to be cis male, and FTM has to pretend to be cis female, and they have to pretend to be monogamous straight instead of queer poly. And their third roommate is actually a host for a DID collective and one of them identifies as black. Hilarity ensues.
