If they remake this The Spy Who Loved Me, They better follow the book CLOSELY, like they did with Casino Royale, starring Daniel Craig as Cmdr. James Bond, Royal Navy... AKA 007

How many times must I say this? Please, no remakes! Let future Bond movies have original storylines!

Besides, I DID read the original novel and it was horrible. Even Ian Fleming hated it.

Fleming specified in his will that any film based on it couldn't include the storyline.

They are NOT going to remake previous Bond films and make them faithful to the novels, that’s literally the dumbest thing they could do and here’s why:

- The novels are BEYOND politically incorrect, do you really think that is going to fly in today’s society?
- What about the films that are already fairly faithful adaptations (Dr. No, FRWL, Goldfinger, Thunderball, OHMSS)?
- Do you seriously think anyone wants to see a faithful adaptation of The Spy Who Loved Me? That would be terrible, it’s an erotic romance novel for women
- How are they going to adapt For Your Eyes Only and Octopussy which are just collections of short stories?
