Help with a scene please....possibly Argento movie?

The scene also takes place on a train, and it's daylight. The train employees are looking for a woman passenger, who they know is missing. After a while of searching for her aboard the train, they find her dead in the train bathroom.
I think her father or stepfather was involved...like he told the police that she would be aboard the train so they knew to look for her there.
Does this sound familiar to anyone? I think it's an Italian or Brit horror film, possibly Argento, but I'm not sure.

I recall Argento's Non Ho Sonno having a scene on a train, although not having seen the film in over 10 years I'm a little fuzzy on the details.

You're welcome--sorry that wasn't the one. Can you remember any more details from the movie that might help someone identify it? Possible year (or even time range) in which it was made? More plot details?

I'm always trying to remember more about it, but it's always vague memories. :(

The part that comes to mind is that the young woman was on the train, but her family didn't know. They thought she was missing and people at home were searching for the girl. Her father didn't know where she was. Then he found something like a receipt for a train ticket and called the police. The police figured out where the train was and what stop was next, so they called ahead and got other policemen to board the train and look for her.

They found her dead in the bathroom. I'm thinking a later 70s movie. I seem to remember a giallo feel to it, so I was thinking an Argento or Fulci film, but it could be something more obscure like Norman J Warren.

No it is not an Argento Movie but it is italian.

The Movie is to 99% possible "Night train murders" by Aldo Lado made 1975.
it is a pretty good Movie basically "Last house on the left" or "the Virgin spring" travelling on a train.

A pair of psychotic hoodlums and an equally demented nymphomaniac woman (Macha Meril from Argentos "Deep Red") terrorize two Young Girls on a train trip from germany to italy to spend some time with one of the Girls family(one of the Girls is played by Irene Miracle from Argentos "Inferno")

The film was rejected for a UK Cinema certificate in 1976 and was listed as an official video nasty
it was released fully uncut in 2008 on shameless DVD label

it is released uncut in USA by Blue Underground.

Thank you Jesper, but that is not it. I just watched Night Train Murders, and there is a similar scene on a train, but not the one I am thinking of...

If you are referring to Argento's Non Ho Sonno, that was the first film I suggested to the OP. He said that wasn't it.
