Some things I didn't understand (Spoilers)

I watched the movie recently and had a few doubts about it.

The director of the school didn't seem like she had left the room she was in in a long time. So didn't the students who had been at the school for 2-3 years think it odd that they had never seen the director?

Again, since the director seemed to spend all her time in that room, why exactly would Sarah have heard the dance school director next to her room? Also, why would Sarah and Suzy have heard her in the hall that night.

What exactly was the purpose of the scene where Suzy gets dazzled by the cook? I don't think it was revisited.

Why were they keeping Suzy drugged? How was she different from any of the other students?

There are probably other points, but these are the ones I could think of off the cuff.

Not sure if I didn't pay enough attention to the movie, but I thought a lot of points were unexplained.

to put a spell on her to maker her sick, as they wanted her to stay in the school to keep an eye on her.

She was the only witness to the girl leaving the school and was murdered, to keep an eye on her just in case she saw something else that could direct the police to the covent.

I'm not mad, I just been in a very bad mood for the last 14 years

All your questions are good, and some might not have answers. I myself was wondering about the benefits of being an "all-powerful" witch when you are bedridden for 200 years and you can be killed even when you're invisible. Not too powerful at all ! She seems rather human.

Well, yeah, but, witch or not, you're not going to be as active at 200 years plus, as you were at 100.

I've not seen Mother of Tears myself, but here's a tidbit from the wiki:

"In The Mother of Tears it is revealed that before the events of Suspiria Elisa Mandy (Daria Nicolodi), a white witch, sought to challenge Markos' evil might. The two battled in Freiburg, and Markos slew both Elisa and her husband. However, Elisa was able to weaken Suspiriorum into the hag-like state seen in Suspiria. According to Father Johannes (Udo Kier) in the third film, the battle left Suspiriorum "a shell of her former self". Elisa's daughter Sarah would later defeat Mater Lachrymarum in Rome."

So Helena was originally much more powerful, but the battle with Elisa crippled her significantly.
